New York Experience
On the 15TH November 3 classes of our school, the 5A-AT, 5A-SV and 5A-TC, took part to the “Progetto Totem”, a visit to the New York University organized by our English teacher, Mrs Raspini.
New York University is a beautiful school with 57 acre estate with olive groves and gardens. It has 5 historical villas that provide a home to NYU in Florence.
We had the opportunity to visit the gardens with an expert guide and after we met 3 classes of American students. In fact the purpose of the visit was to meet students of different part of the world and we talked with them about many interesting topics. Same of these students come from Washington DC, Boston, Carolina and California. They attend this university for 1 year or 6 months and they study politics, economics, sociology and Italian too.
We think it was a great experience because we learnt many things about the culture of other people.
